Premfire B1 – Straw Applied

Sealprem’s Premfire B1 Construction Foam is an air humidity curing prepolymerised mixture in an aerosol can. The can comes with a straw applicator at no additional cost. To apply the foam, you simply remove the cap, install the straw, shake the can and apply. This is a really quick and convenient option for smaller jobs. As with all straw applied foam, you have to get the feel for how much pressure to put on the straw, but once you do, this is a great way to quickly apply Premfire B1 on smaller projects.

However, due to the straws lack of flow control, it often leads to inaccurate placement of the foam. When used in small quantities, straw foams are cheaper and do not involve additional costs.

Premfire B1 – Gun Applied

Contractors who are using Premfire B1 Construction Foam and want a pro applicator may opt to use a gun for application. The gun applicator can also be used with our Premfire B1 Foam can. Shake the can first and apply the bead with the gun, once you’re finished using your Premfire B1, simply close the valve and the whole system is ready to be re-used. You have a number of options for application. If you dial it right in, you have fine control – the foam stops when you stop and starts when you start, and the foam flow is adjustable.

The Sealprem Pro gun is the ultimate applicator for the foam to perform at its peak. It will provide a greater yield, give you less expansion with better structure and more flexibility. Without the need to repair sealed areas, you save the cost of replacement materials and labour as well as time. And with less products used over a longer period, less waste goes into landfill or to pollute nature.
